The Thirteenth Post: 슈퍼주니어
These days I'm having this new obsession over Super Junior (SuJu). I know the name of the band sounds lame… BUT, they're Koreans! It started while I was surfing Youtube watching I-forgot-what-it-was video. Then I clicked on this MV called Happiness by Super Junior. It was amazing because the boys looked like they were having a blast in the clip. Super Cute! And so that was it. Well actually I’ve seen them before in Star King when Charice Pempengco performed ‘A Whole New World’ with one of the members, Kyu Hyun. But then I was just not so into them at that very moment. Yet, out of nowhere… Wallah! Here I am. A SuJu fanatic! I’m Super Ecstatic!

Sungmin starred in a soap opera called JaMaeBaDa before his debute as a part of Super Junior. In the soap, he asked a girl to steam-cook sweet pumpkin for him. The fans that found the video of the soap found him very cute, asking him to say the line on radio shows etc, thus earning his nickname. He started martial arts in high school and taught himself how to do nunchucks. Sungmin has also appeared in dramas, which are Sea of Sisters and SBS's Banjun Theater: Finding Lost Time (with Park Yoochun of DBSK.)

Because Eun Hyuk's birth name coincides with that of an established Korean comedian, he is known by his stage name. Eun Hyuk is the DJ of KBS radio show Super Junior Kiss the Radio with LeeTeuk.

They came to Malaysia for the MTV Asia Awards 2008 but unfortunately I didn't get to go. Oh well, better luck next time. But hey, seeing them live on TV wasn't as bad as you'd imagine. They were superb! Definitely Super Marvelous! The CAN sing and they dance so well! Bravo! And so that's it. See you in a bit!
